ABOUT ME
My name is Ngoc /knock/ Nguyen; I am a first-year PhD Student at the Department of Environmental Science, Policy, and Management, University of California, Berkeley (2021-2022), with an emphasis on Ecosystem Science (Advised by Dr. Trevor Keenan). I graduated from University of Denver '21 with a major in Environmental Science and minors in Mathematics and Leadership Studies. I am an ambivert and perfectionist. I have found a strong passion in studying climate issues that our Earth is now suffering from, particularly studying the dynamics of carbon cycles, ecosystem responses to warming temperatures, and the linkages between plant adaptation, carbon, and water cycles. I am interested in developing mathematical ecosystem models & using large data sets (eddy-covariance, remote sensing, etc.) to predict future changes and assess the current stage of Earth's climate.
